Gastor Trading GmbH is a rapidly growing young international company and market leader in the field of party additives and cream chargers. We help gastronomy, bars and markets of all kinds with the provision of cream dispensers and cream chargers. Our customers include more than 2,500 supermarkets, late night shops, bars, restaurants, etc. We have offices in Rotterdam, Stuttgart, Paris and in the United States.

**About the job**:
For our branch in Duisburg a vacancy has opened for a Company accountant (M/F). An experienced accountant who can help manage our daily accounting and financial needs and report directly to the company owners. In this role it is important that your accounting experience is up to date, you have knowledge of tax laws and regulations and you can also advise the owners in this field.

**Job tasks & responsibilities**
- Balancing and maintaining accurate ledgers
- Matching purchase orders with invoices
- Coordinating bank deposits and regularly reporting financial results to the company owners
- Checking office expenses and recording cash receipts
- Payment of supplier invoices and tracking of bank account balances
- Development of monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss accounts and balance sheets

**Requirements**:

- For applicants outside of EU: You must have a valid work permit and live in or near Duisburg;
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related study
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the field of accounting
- Familiar with accounting programs such as Datev, or other similar accounting programs
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting policies
- Extensive experience with data entry, archiving and computing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel
- Experience with payroll-related services, such as written audits and payroll filing
- Strong insight into business and income tax worksheets and calculations
- Fluent in English and German;
