**About the Role**

We are seeking a talented MRI Scientist to join our dynamic team. As an MRI Scientist at DeepSpin, you will play a pivotal role in the numerical simulation, design, optimization, and integration of MRI sequences. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the performance and capabilities of our MRI systems, ultimately leading to improved image quality and diagnostic accuracy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop accurate models to predict signal generation, acquisition, and image formation processes.
- Implement innovative techniques to enhance imaging speed, resolution, and contrast.
- Integrate domain knowledge of MRI physics and imaging principles into machine learning algorithms.
- Support the development of advanced control and reconstruction algorithms by leveraging MRI expertise.
- Develop algorithms for signal processing, image reconstruction to improve data quality.

**About You**:

- MSc/PhD Degree in STEM (Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc)
- Experience in working with raw MRI signals
- Fluent in programming in Python & Scientific computing (Scipy, Numpy)
- First principles thinking, excellent communication skills in English and a proactive, positive attitude
- Experience with MRI in a clinical setting and in pulse sequence design
- Preferred: Basic knowledge of low level MRI hardware
- Preferred: basic experience in Software Engineering practices
- Preferred: postdoc or industry experience in a leading research group/company
- Preferred: proven track record with publications in top MRI journals
