We are looking for an Underwriter Entertainment
- Region Central Eastern Europe (CEE), based in Cologne.

**Your Team**

Based in Cologne and working with a team of 2 Underwriters, you are part of a truly global team that does not stop at your region’s borders. In Entertainment, we work very closely and amicably together across the globe to help each other out, exchange market standards and share underwriting best practices. In a dynamic market environment, we are committed to serve our client’s and brokers needs and further strengthen the position of AGCS as the global leader in this Specialty line of business.

**The Impact You Will Have**

Reporting to the Regional Head of Underwriting CEE, you will further grow the profitable Entertainment portfolio in the Region CEE, focussing on both Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You will underwrite profitable new and renewal business of the Entertainment Line of Business offering Film/TV/Commercials, Live and Contingency insurance products and will help negotiate participation, pricing, terms and conditions. In addition to that, you will develop relationships with brokers and clients and look for new business opportunities in the market. Furthermore, you will support global Entertainment Underwriting team and global expansion activities.

**Some of your specific responsibilities could include**:

- Underwrite Film/TV/Commercials, Live and Contingency new and renewal risks to meet top and bottom-line targets (local and regional)
- Underwrite governance framework (Underwriting Authorities, Underwriting Guidelines, Rules, Principles) and ensure contract certainty is achieved on all accounts at time of launch
- Ensure accurate policy documentation issued to broker and support completion of policy administration and credit control processes
- Execute regional Underwriting strategy
- Actively pursue acquisition of new business and retention of existing business
- Develop relationships with key brokers and clients and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. risk managers) and positively represent AGCS externally to the market

**What You’ll Bring to the Role**
- 3 or more years' experience in Underwriting profitable business in LoB.
- Specialized expert in understanding of multiple sub-LoB products and portfolio
- Risk Assessment and Management: Ability to assess risk inherent exposures and natural hazards relevant to LoB
- Contract Drafting and Interpretation: Design, develop and implement robust wordings
- Policy Management: understanding of policy administration life cycle, information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, cancellation.
- Experience with legal and regulatory framework
- Outstanding communication & presentation skills
- Ability to analyze highly complex data, from multiple sources, in detail; identify and resolve issues before they transpire
- Ability to work in an international complex environment and outstanding inter-cultural skills
- Fluent English and German skills
