**TUI Cruises** is one of the leading cruise providers in the German-speaking region. The joint venture between TUI AG and the US cruise group Royal Caribbean Group Ltd. employs around 750 people in **Hamburg and Berlin **and operates 11 cruise ships. The 6 ships of the **Mein Schiff®** fleet offer contemporary holidays at sea in the premium segment. With 5 ships, the traditional brand **Hapag-Lloyd Cruises **stands for luxury and expedition cruises.

The company already has one of the most modern and environmentally and climate-friendly cruise fleets in the world. In the course of sustainable growth, three more new ships are planned until 2026.

**Senior Data Scientist (M/F/x)**

**WHAT TO EXPECT**
- Take the lead in designing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms, including refining our Revenue Management System’s algorithms
- Analyze complex datasets, extract insights, and provide data-driven recommendations to support business decisions
- Guide and mentor Junior Data Scientists, providing technical leadership and training as necessary
- Contribute to the evolution of data visualization practices to clearly communicate insights
- Play a key role in shaping the future of the company through data-driven innovations

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong portfolio of projects
- Expert knowledge of SQL, Python, and machine learning libraries
- Experience with VCS (e.g. Github, Bitbucket) and Optimization frameworks (e.g. PuLP, OR-Tools) is highly desirable
- Extensive experience in building predictive models and algorithms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead a team and guide junior members
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
- Experience or interest in Pricing topics is highly desirable
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus
