Enjoy being part of a great team of experienced Legal Counsels and Contract Managers shaping the energy landscape of the future In your role as a member of this team you will actively support the manifold activities coming along with the project business of the Business Area “Gas Services”. The world is currently facing a transition of the energy market that is characterized by an increasing energy demand, and you will take responsibility for a broad variety of complex legal matters in this exciting environment. Your primary task is the legal support in the field of commercial contracts for the national and international sale of power generation equipment (especially large turbine generator sets) by means of identifying and analyzing legal risks, commenting and negotiating contracts, and suggesting innovative ways to tackle the challenges arising in large project business.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Manage all legal matters/risks and contracts in complex project business with a special focus on supporting the national and international sale of power generation equipment
- Take initiative and contribute proactively to master business challenges by thinking entrepreneurial and by balancing governance and business needs
- Engage and cost consciously manage outside counsel when needed at times
- Drive process development and optimization to gain efficiencies
- Foster an organizational culture of ownership, empowerment, transparency and “speak up”
- Collaborate closely within the global Legal and Compliance community

**What You Bring**
- Preferably: background as a fully qualified lawyer (1st and 2nd German State Exam or equivalent)
- Preferably: minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the legal department of an internationally operating company or a law firm
- Experience in relation to dealing with complex international projects, where you gained thorough and broad knowledge of all legal and business matters in connection with such complex project business, in particular regarding contract law and international contract practice
- Deep business understanding and passion to enable business transactions and to drive change
- Excellent communication and coordination skills coupled with intercultural sensitivity and competence
- High motivation to work in a team in an international environment
- Fluency in English (strong verbal and writing skills), any additional language skills are highly appreciated
