In order to support our team, Airbus Operations is looking for an

**Intern in Vertical Tail Plane Engineering (d/f/m)**:
You will become part of the VTP design office in Hamburg, within RFE Airframe Engineering, a dynamic and transnational team.

You will be part of the System Integration Team and will be involved in aircraft system development and integration activities with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability.

**Your location**:
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. **Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- You will contribute to the development of the next improved flight control systems and deal with state-of-the-art system design and integration methods on a daily basis.
- You are in contact with the production facility and receive an end-to-end view of the product, from the idealization phase to operational use.
- You work in an environment where innovation and sustainability are top priorities.

**Desired skills and qualifications**:

- Enrolled full-time student in aerospace/mechanical engineering or similar field of study
- Basics of overall aircraft design, basic skills in the area of systems and system integration
- Experience in Catia V5 and Skywise would be an advantage
- Independent work and good communication skills are required
- Business fluent in English language
- German would be an advantage
