**BI Analytics Engineering Intern (F/M/D)**:
**6 months internship starting in April, based in Berlin**

**About the role**

The Data team is an international collective, dynamic, tech-savvy and agile. Through a modern data stack combined with advanced dataOps, data modeling and visualization tools, the team provides valuable data products to foster a decentralized approach to analytics. End users include Vestiaire Collective management, Commercial and Growth teams, Customer Service, OPS, Finance, Product and Tech.

We are looking for an analytics engineering intern to focus on improving the user experience of our data marts and self-service analytics. Reporting to the analytics engineering manager your role will be based at our Paris Office where you will build best of the breed data solutions to improve automation, efficiency, scalability and data availability across the organization.

**What you will do**
- Build valuable data marts for faster time to insights, actions and impact
- Maintain high coding standards leveraging software engineering practices and advanced data modeling strategies
- Empower business teams with efficient and cost-conscious self-service capabilities
- Ensure high-quality value-delivery of data in one or multiple business domains, blending business acumen with technical expertise
- Implement best practices in terms of dataOps processes, data modeling and visualization (reporting, dashboarding)
- Demonstrate the potential business value derived from our analytics products including Data Marts, Data Catalog, Official Dashboards etc.
- Be a true Activist - dare to challenge status quo, drive data-informed decision making and raise the bar of analytics as a whole

**Who you are**
- Currently enrolled in a Master of science in engineering (computer science preferred)
- Previous experience in a BI, Data or Analytical engineering role
- Strong data manipulation/programming skills (python/sql) + solid fundamentals of computer science such as data structures, data modeling, analysis and visualization
- Work independently
- Hands-on experience with developing data pipelines / ETL, Airflow, DBT, Matillion etc.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills, aligning with stakeholders
- Fluency in English (writing and speaking) is mandatory. French is a plus.
