We are looking for an experienced **Finance Business Partner** which will play an important role with regards to finance in Terma GmbH. You will support the team of Terma Space (Germany and Austria) and have the responsibility for daily financial tasks while coordinating with the HQ located in Denmark.

**Responsibilities**

Your tasks will include the following:

- Prepare Annual report for Terma GmbH
- General activities in financial controlling
- Have the responsibility of VAT and CIT reporting
- Act as first contact for local tax-authorities and social security
- Manage annual audit of financial statements
- Manage audits regarding CIT, VAT, social security
- Ad-hoc support to other Terma Companies
- Support to Budget preparations
- Overall responsibility for Bookkeeping and input to payroll
- Manage Financial tasks for Terma Space Austria.

This is a full-time position, located at our office in Darmstadt, Germany with planned start date of 1st of July 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.

**Qualifications & Competencies**

You will have an educational background as "Bilanzbuchhalter" / Chartered accountant or similar.

Have already acquired knowledge in:

- Minimum 3 years of experience from an accounting department or an audit firm and have a strong knowledge with German accounting principles and IFRS would be an advantage.
- ERP systems for accounting
- Mandatory German fluent skills and experience in financial environment of Germany and/or Austria.

What you need to know as well:

- We are looking for a relationship builder and a team player, who masters to cooperate and coordinate broadly with colleagues as well as external advisors at all levels, and who has good knowledge of all processes within a finance function.
- You will be working in a very diverse international environment placed in Darmstadt in Germany; almost 30 different nationalities.
- You are goal oriented with high integrity and responsibility in relation to meeting deadlines, and you thrive in a busy working environment with numerous parallel activities.
- Very good communication skills in English both in verbal and in written.
- You are used to work with MS office programs and are as a person well-structured at a sufficiently detailed level.
- While and at the beginning of your work you could travel more to meet your team, in general, you should be ready to travel twice per year for business purposes.

You must be able to conduct all activities in an orderly and disciplined manner, able to work calmly and accurately under stress and able to work independently without supervision.
