**Location**:

- You will be working at our largest logistics location in Europe in the centre of the Ruhr area (Gelsenkirchen).

**Responsibilities**:

- You are responsible for the complete processing of customs procedures.
- You will be in close contact with authorities, freight forwarders and customers regarding customs and logistics issues.
- You support the improvement of our processes and take on project tasks.
- You coordinate loading and unloading processes via our in-house yard management IT system.
- You will be in close contact with the site management and support them, for example, by creating reports, maintaining internal databases, SAP postings and coordinating warehouse processes.

**Qualifications**:

- You have completed an apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics specialist or have some work experience in the logistics industry.
- Ideally, you will have completed training as a customs specialist with the relevant certificates or have practical experience in the customs sector.
- You are familiar with MS Office, especially Excel.
- In the area of customs clearance, you ideally have experience with the Atlas and AEB import/export express systems.
- This position offers development potential and requires independence, a sense of responsibility and commitment.
- You have a good command of written and spoken German and English.
