Accounts Payable Accountant

**HiveMQ's Vision for this role**
The AP Accountant will work within the accounting and financial reporting team in a mix of daily activities ensuring the overall success of the finance function and help the company comply with the financial and regulatory requirements.

**You will**
- Manage Accounts Payable mailbox; effectively communicate with the finance team, business leaders and suppliers
- Invoice recording and processing: Check approval levels on invoices, enter supplier invoices and record journal entries
- Be responsible for payment transactions and book bank statements
- Manage credit card reconciliations
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and yearly closing processes by working closely with the accounting and finance teams
- Reconcile outstanding balances
- Monthly journal entries, accruals and prepayments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the accounts payable process
- Ad-hoc Accounts Payable/Payment related activities
- Intercompany and Intergroup accounts billing and reconciliation
- Participate in various finance projects

**You have**
- Experience in Accounts Payable within the SaaS/Tech space
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and have strong analytical skills
- Great communication, organizational, and prioritisation skills
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and basic accounting principles
- Familiar with ERP systems (Datev and Oracle Netsuite)
- Business fluency in English
