**ABOUT THE POSITION**

Automatik VFX is currently seeking a Senior Compositor to join our team in Berlin.

The Senior Compositor will be responsible for combining live-action and computer-generated elements into visual effects shots which show the vision and creative direction of the VFX Supervisors and client.

You will carry out tasks such as 2D tracking, layering of elements, colour grading, extracting mattes, and integrating rear projections into background images. Contributing to the development of visual solutions for specific effects and executing assigned shots that are creatively and technically excellent in the fastest way possible.

Experience in Nuke with the ability to structure Nuke scripts and creative workflows to facilitate efficient conceptual changes. Be proactive in collaborating and communicating with other departments and leads to ensure the seamless integration of all elements, meeting schedules and deadlines.

This role would be for someone who has a strong understanding of the VFX Pipeline, works in compositing in a senior capacity, on challenging projects, and has an artistic background.
