**Scope of the Role**:
Mercury is seeking a Senior Planner who will be responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional / sectoral). They will also be responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by Mercury Planning Guidelines

**Key Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Reporting to Planning Department; Reporting to Business Unit / Project Management
- Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning
- Developing and maintaining progress databases
- Progress reporting
- Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis
- Earned Value Management systems
- Monitoring schedule performance and productivity
- Auditing progress on site
- Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors
- Preparation of tender schedules
- Preparation of histograms
- Leading planning meetings
- Supporting weekly workface planning systems
- Resource / cash loading of schedules
- Completing contract review reports
- Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports
- Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions
- Recording delay and disruption
- Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes
- Travelling to projects in order to carry out the above, if required
- Managing, training, coaching, supporting, developing, leading staff, if required
- Covering Planning Manager responsibilities when required
- Covering Project Planner responsibilities when required
- All other duties associated with role

**Essential Criteria for the Role**:

- 7 years’ experience as a Project Planner/ Senior Planner on large scale projects
- Experience with Data Centres would be an advantage
- Experience leading a team of planners with excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ability to work with formulas, graphs and pivot tables in Excel.

**Umfang der Rolle**:
Mercury sucht einen Senior Planner, der für ein Projekt oder Projektportfolio (regional/sektoral) verantwortlich ist. Sie sind außerdem für alle Aspekte der Planung gemäß den Mercury-Planungsrichtlinien verantwortlich

**Hauptaufgaben der Rolle**:

- Berichterstattung an die Planungsabteilung; Berichterstattung an die Geschäftseinheit / Projektmanagement
- Erstellung und Pflege von Zeitplänen für Bauvorbereitung / Bau / Inbetriebnahme
- Entwicklung und Pflege von Fortschrittsdatenbanken
- Fortschrittsberichterstattung
- Meilensteinprojektionen, Delay-/Float-Pfadanalyse
- Earned-Value-Management-Systeme
- Überwachung der Leistung und Produktivität des Zeitplans
- Auditing-Fortschritt vor Ort
- Teilnahme an Terminbesprechungen, Kontaktaufnahme mit Auftraggebern und Subunternehme
