As **Working Student** UI/UX Design** you will be an important part of the Studydrive team in Berlin-Neukölln.

**These are your tasks**:

- Assist in maintaining and expanding our cross-platform design system with other designers and developers
- Be involved in the planning, ideation and design process for new components
- Collaborate with the product design team, product managers and engineers
- Plan and execute user research such as testing and interviews to build evidence within the design process
- Translate research findings into wireframes, prototypes and final product design optimized for our website and apps
- Create an engaging platform with an intuitive user experience to motivate students to support each other and to improve their studies

**What you are throwing in**:

- You have designed UI for both the web and mobile platforms
- The topic of design system sparks your interest and you are familiar with documentation and hand off to engineering
- You have a general understanding of accessibility guidelines and common design patterns
- Even though your passion lies with UI, you are curious to be involved in different steps of the whole design process: research, ideate, prototype and testing
- You have experience in using Figma, e.g. for pre-visualization, prototyping and spec creation
- Being familiar with the following tools is a plus: Miro, Dovetail, Storybook, Jira and Confluence
- You have good communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- You like to think outside the box
- You have excellent English skills, German is a plus
- You are located in Berlin, ideally still have at least 2 semesters ahead of you and are available for 15-20 hrs/week
- If you are not a student at a university in Germany, but attended a bootcamp or similar, we are also open to discuss a part-time role
