required skills:
- Substantial knowledge and experience in Houdini and FX Simulation
- Proven experience of 5+ years in a large variety of effects, including pyro, fluids, particles, destruction, vellum and crowds
- Desire to motivate artists, provide constructive feedback and foster a collaborative spirit within your team of artists
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage a team
- Excellent understanding of CG Mathematics, Physics and VEX Scripting
responsibilities:
- Lead your FX project teammates to meet expectations and deliver work in a timely manner
- Work with the FX Supervisor to create the initial setups and templates for the project’s FX tasks
- Provide feedback and mentorship to your FX teammates, and help them find solutions to their technical issues
- Maintain reusable resources such as documentation and tutorials for FX team reference
