We are currently building our team and now searching for

**Groundwater Modeler (M/F/d)**

**Daily tasks**:

- Inquiry and analyze publicly available data and measurement data related to groundwater levels and temperatures, aquifer properties, and water quality.
- Incorporate various data sources, such as geological, hydrogeological, and hydrological data etc., into the setup of groundwater model as its parameterization, initial and boundary conditions.
- Perform simulations based on the model setup and analyze the simulation results as well as evaluate the fidelity of them.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis by varying model parameters and identify the uncertainty in model results.
- Calibrate the groundwater model against measurement data and improve its predictivity and reliability.
- Present and document model results as reports.

**What we are looking for**:

- Proficient in using groundwater modeling software (FEFLOW, MODFLOW, PCGEOFIM/ GEOFIM / IPGW)
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
- Education - Environmental Engineering, or a related field Hydrogeology, applied Geoscience.
