System Architect

**Your Tasks**:

- You will work in global product development on innovative mechatronic driver assistance systems for autonomous vehicles
- You support all product development tasks with your broad technical knowledge
- You will develop, define and document the system architecture of driver assistance systems for our premium customers in collaboration with hardware and software developers
- You define and select the essential system architecture components
- You define the interfaces and the interaction of the system components, including the interfaces between hardware and software
- You define your technical solutions as requirements and coordinate them with our internal experts
- In all tasks, you will work in a creative, multinational and interdisciplinary environment

**Your Background**:

- University degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, physics or similar
- Experience in the development of electrical control units or in system development in the automotive environment
- Good knowledge in the field of driver assistance systems (radar technology)
- You have sound knowledge in the development of system architectures
- Very good knowledge of hardware and software
- Experience with hardware / software interfaces and communication protocols
- Experience with SysML or UML tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect)
- Very good knowledge of Automotive SPICE and experience in the development of control units taking into account functional safety aspects (ISO 26262)
- Very good FMEA knowledge
- You have at least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
- You are characterized by a strong team and customer orientation as well as a high degree of flexibility, commitment and initiative
- Your way of working is structured and responsible, autonomous and independent
- Your personal profile is rounded off by a friendly and committed demeanor
- You are business fluent in German and English (at least C1 level)
- You are willing to travel and have a valid class B driving license
