**The department**
- In the position of HSSE coordinator you are responsible for matters in the field of Health, Safety, Security, Environment (HSSE) within the Eemshaven location. The department translates and implements the HSSE policy in the decentralized organization. You advise the local MT and middle management on HSSE.

**Main**
**activities**
- You manage the local facility and purchasing process, from investment request to in-voice control. You are responsible for monitoring the location budget regarding HSSE
- You develop the HSSE policy decentral, based on the central guidelines. This includes necessary ad hoc changes and long-term vision
- You are the first point of contact in case of calamities and incidents regarding safety, environment, and security. In addition, you are responsible for setting up policy regarding this, such as BHV
- You are the point of contact for customer, government, and other authorities in the field of security, environment, hazardous substances and purchasing
- You perform local audits, and you follow and implement recommendations. You pre-pare and assist external audits in the field of HSSE
- You monitor and ensure the correct certification of employees, location (premises) and processes. Responds to changing requirements and laws and regulations

**We ask**
- You have completed an education at HBO level in a relevant direction; e.g. integral safety science, business administration or facility management
- You have at least 1 years of work experience in a similar role and with managing a team.
- You have a great sense of responsibility and ensure that the projects to which you contribute are brought to a successful conclusion
- You are willing to look outside the box and propose improvements
- You have persuasiveness and know how to communicate advice strongly to different stakeholders
- You have strong communication skills, both in Dutch and in English
- If necessary, you sporadically work an evening or a weekend, you are available in case of calamities.
