Commodity Lead Buyer

Mauser Packaging Solutions is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Commodity Lead Buyer (M/F/d) based in our International Headquarters in Bruehl (Cologne area).

Tasks
- Demand coordination of direct commodities for the European plants
- Control of direct commodities e.g. masterbatch, inks, injection molded parts and films
- Independent execution of tenders and further development of the existing supplier base
- Data analysis and maintenance for the direct commodities
- Execution of projects to improve the quality and costs of the commodities
- Operational and administrative support of the purchasing team

**Requirements**:

- Completed studies (business/technology) or completed commercial training with several years of professional experience in purchasing
- Experience in managing and controlling commodities
- Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
- Confident with MS Office and with an ERP system
- Networking
- Effective work under tight deadlines
- Several years of professional experience in an international environment/matrix organization
- Experience in managing and controlling commodities
