**QC Specialist NGS - Bioinformatician (all genders)**
The NGS QC Specialist will provide support to the Head of Dengue Quality Control and collaborate with the DS QC Specialist in tasks associated with Next-Generation Sequencing.
**Your main responsibilities**:
- You will take charge of producing and evaluating all the necessary documentation essential for procuring and certifying the equipment needed for NGS, with a particular focus on the bioinformatics component.
- Establishing the foundational bioinformatics infrastructure for NGS will be your main goal.
- Your engagement in global NGS-related meetings will bring up great input to the team.
**Your profile**:
- You hold a master’s degree in bioinformatics or a related discipline.
- Your data visualization skills and experience with data retrieval from public sequence databases are distinguished.
- You are experienced within a GMP environment and with interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in budgeting and resource planning complement your profile.
In this position you will report to the Quality Control Vaccine Lead.
