How can you contribute?_**

**We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled leader to join and strengthen our talented global IT Infrastructure Team. In the role, you will support a team of senior network engineers responsible for the core datacenter network spanning across approx. 60,000 end-users.**

**You and your crew will build, operate and maintain the network backbone of Eurofins** **You will coach team members to enable them to successfully address the challenges that they face in meeting their responsibilities and to help them to grow and develop their professional capabilities. You must also be the leader in bringing about a more disciplined approach to network engineering projects.**

Your crew will support and execute strategic and transformational initiatives, such as:

- The segregation execution programs;
- The implementation and designing of the different segregated zones (IT User Zones);
- Supporting and designing the segregation of the different in-scope solutions ITAAG (IT Application Availability Groups).

As a **Crew Lead - Datacenter Network Services** at Eurofins, you will:

- Act as Team Lead for all network components of datacenters located in Hamburg, DE;
- Define the monitoring and keep the network every time fully operational;
- Enable your engineers and build a strong network team;
- Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible;
- Ensure that your team delivers quality documentation, including procedures, policies and low-level designs;
- Work closely together with other group IT teams to deliver the best customer experience;
- Ensure that the services comply with the set policies and standards and meet the agreed SLA’s;
- Support your team to improve existing processes through sustainable solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to exiting solutions by automation.

**Qualifications**:

Are you our kind of extraordinary?_**
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the operations of network infrastructure;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in leading a team of network experts;
- Excellent network knowledge on all OSI Levels;
- Holistic mindset - out of the box thinking;
- Capable to translate technology to management and back;
- Reverse engineering capabilities;
- Cisco 300-620 or 300-620 Certification is a plus;
- Ability to travel on-site to Hamburg (DE) on occasional basis (1x per month);
- Strong **English **language skills required (written/spoken). Knowledge of another language is an asset.
