**What you will do**:
We are actively seeking an **Interim HR Lead** to support our mission to enable everyone in the world to have access to clean, reliable, affordable and locally generated energy.

This is a **part-time position** designed as a parental leave replacement with approximately **30 hrs/week**, for a duration of approximately 9 months, ideally starting from 1 April 2023. There is an option to prolong the contract.

**What you will do**:

- Lead and develop the company’s HR department, including creating, establishing and implementing strategic and operational HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Analyze, resolve and implement HR-related legal and contractual matters together with (external) advisors and the Executive Board on an ongoing basis.
- Oversee and optimize existing HR ops processes incl. payroll across six different countries (GER, ESP, IT, CH, AUS and EOR).
- Take on a leading role in promoting and fostering organizational health with a focus on culture & people.
- Further develop the company’s performance management and promotion policies.
- Further develop and help implement the company’s approach to goal-setting and translate company goals into objectives and specific projects for the HR department.
- Plan and align recruitment needs with hiring managers in accordance with the company’s talent acquisition process.
- Develop new ways to foster the employee experience online and offline.
- Oversee the HR budget.
- Solving ad-hoc requests and special projects according to company need and fit.

**You will be great in this position if**:

- You have a degree in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, Business or a related field, and/or at least 3 years of relevant HR work experience, ideally (but not necessarily) in a leading role.
- You are fluent in English; additional language skills (German, Italian, Spanish) are a plus.
- You are able to work independently and take full ownership of your role and responsibilities. You are not afraid to make decisions.
- You like to go to the bottom of things and know how to communicate your findings clearly.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on mentality. You don’t get tired of facing new challenges and like to find solutions to problems you didn’t know existed.
- You like to work with people and have the soft and interpersonal skills to manage various interests and personalities.
- You are open for a flexible arrangement with regard to the exact duration of the contract. Depending on the circumstances, there is also the option to extend the contract or transfer into an assignment on a freelance/ consulting basis.

**Nice to have**: You have worked on one of the following topics with regard to HR before: automation/ digitization of HR processes, internationalization, company goal-setting/ OKRs, employee experience in a remote work setting.
