**Ihre Aufgaben**:
Im Fokus der Professurvertretung stehen die Leitung der Forschungsgruppe „Web Science“ am Institut für Angewandte Informatik und Formale Beschreibungsverfahren und die Forschung zu Algorithmen und Methoden der Angewandten Informatik im Kontext von Web-Technologien. Gewünscht ist eine Ausrichtung auf Technologien aus dem Semantic Web. Wir suchen Sie als eine international exzellent ausgewiesene Persönlichkeit mit hervorragenden Publikationen in führenden internationalen Konferenzen und Fachzeitschriften. In Ihrer Forschung widmen Sie sich der Verarbeitung von semantisch beschriebenen Daten aus dezentralen Systemen mit Methoden, bei denen Integration, Souveränität und Interoperabilität im Vordergrund stehen. In diesem Kontext erforschen Sie Verfahren, um dezentrale (z.B. mittels der Solid-Protokollfamilie) und dynamische (z.B. prozessbasierte, regelbasierte) Systeme zu erstellen.
In der Lehre stärken Sie das Angebot der KIT-Fakultät für Wirtschaftswissenschaften im Themenbereich „Web Science“. Die Beteiligung an der Lehre für die Studiengänge Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Technische Volkswirtschaftslehre/Digital Economics, Wirtschaftsinformatik und Wirtschaftsmathematik, auch in den Pflichtveranstaltungen der Bachelorstudiengänge, sowie die Bereitschaft zur aktiven Mitwirkung an der akademischen Selbstverwaltung werden erwartet. Es wird vorausgesetzt, dass sich der künftige Stelleninhaber/die künftige Stelleninhaberin auch im Bereich Innovation engagiert und mit Praxispartnern zur Unterstützung des Transfers von Forschungsergebnissen in die Praxis beiträgt.
