**Position**:
The opportunity

The Student Hub Advisor supports students in their Bachelor's or Master's degree by providing them with needed advice and support to successfully complete their degree program.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

- Provide excellent and effective service to students in a timely manner
- Respond to a wide variety of enquiries via different systems and in person
- Organize student events & support student clubs to increase student engagement & sense of belonging
- Outreach to students who have been identified by faculty or staff as being at risk of dropping out of UE and offer appropriate and relevant support to address their need(s). They will refer students to the relevant support based on their needs
- Help identify the student's issues or needs and refer them to the appropriate support service
- Keep up-to-date information about support services on campus to be able to refer students to these supports as needed
- Oversee & support peer mentor program, including helping to train student mentors
- Share suggestions for improvements to the campus/learning environment with the responsible department
- Other related duties

**Requirements**:

- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Excellent written and spoken languages skills in German and English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
- Excellent service skills
- Demonstrated organizational experience in running events, such as welcome days or new student orientation
- Demonstrated skills in the initiative in problem-solving and taking proactive action in addressing student problems
- 1-3 Years of Experience in student services field or comparative field; Completion of a commercial apprenticeship; Demonstrated practical experience in service: ie hotel industry, customer-oriented administration and/or higher education
