**Lecturer with a specified function**:
- in full-time (100 %)
- As Head of General University Sports (Allgemeiner Hochschulsport - AHS), you will be responsible for 5 employees and more than 380 honorary staffmembers. You will be responsible for the entire range of university sports, which includes around 80 different sports and exercise programs every week. In partnership with the Student Sports Committee, AHS also organizes student competitive sports at national and international level as well as sporting events, workshops and excursions.**Your tasks**:
- Management of general university sports
- Active participation in projects for the structural renewal of the infrastructure of the Institute of Sports Science (planning, implementation and monitoring)
- Scientific evaluation of infrastructural changes and scientific monitoring of new AHS programmes
- Preparation and conduct of didactic courses with a focus on soccer and fitness and health sports in the degree programmes of the Institute of Sports Science
- Preparation and conduct of courses in the degree programmes of the Institute of Sports Science (focus on training and exercise science)
- Supervision of student work and examination activities
- Responsible for assuming tasks in the area of university self-administration
**Your profile**:
- In addition to the general requirements according to public services law, applicants must meet the recruitment requirements stipulated in - 58 in conjunction with - 57 of the _Hochschulgesetz_ of Rhineland-Palatinate:
- A successfully completed scientific university degree in sports or sports science (diploma, master's degree or state examination for the teaching profession at grammar schools)
- A doctorate in the field of sports science relevant to the position
- Knowledge and experience in project management
- Professional and personal competence in personnel management and team leadership with proof of appropriate qualifications (e.g. certificate of further education or training)
- Knowledge of
- AHS sports operations and sports programmes (organisational structure and work processes as well as sports operations)
- interfaces between AHS and the various disciplines of sports science
- public relations
- university-specific structures and administrative processes
- the special requirements of a non-profit organisation with a commercial nature (gBgA)
- Economic and strategic mindset and action as well as strong organisational and design skills
- Experience in acquiring third-party funding
Further desirable qualifications:
- Coaching licences in soccer and fitness and health sports
- Experience as a coach in soccer and fitness and health sports would be of advantage
