Counsel Ip

**Responsibilities**:

- Patent attorney support and advice for the business groups and inventors in all matters relating to intellectual property rights
- Proactive participation in the creation and implementation of the business groups' IP strategies
- Supporting development projects as a patent attorney and helping to protect the results under intellectual property law
- Responsibility for enforcing and defending own property rights and defending against third-party property rights in Germany and abroad
- Supporting the business units in freedom-to-operate analyses in Germany

**Qualifications**:

- Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, process engineering, physics or electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- Admission as European Patent Attorney and/or German Patent Attorney
- Preferably several years of professional experience in the patent department of an industrial company or a patent law firm
- Experience in the field of trademarks required
- Experience in the protection of digital inventions an advantage
- Very good communication skills for the clear presentation of complicated legal issues
- Strong teamwork skills, independent and efficient working style, hands-on mentality, goal orientation, flexibility and initiative
- Business fluent in German and fluent in English
