***THE POSITION**:
We are looking for a Global Capability Owner, based in our headquarters in Ingelheim/Germany, to globally lead the “Operational Segmentation, Targeting and Territory Alignment” capabilities. The appointed GCO will be responsible for defining the capability vision, develop and deliver capability building tools / trainings / platforms to support execution of BI customer facing strategies in a compliant and sustainable manner across the HP Regions.
The incumbent is expected to consider the requirements of the global cross-functional GTM Model; the needs of the capability users in the regions/local operating units and/or cross-functional corporate teams, impact on external customers, and business value of the capability. It is also expected to collaborate with other global capability owners to ensure end-to-end alignment of the capability standards, processes, platforms, data, integrations, and core performance metrics across the capability portfolio and supports the training, promotion and adoption of best practices across capability users.

**Tasks & responsibilities**:
- As GCO, you will lead the cross-functional capability squad to define the capability strategy including vision, standards, and performance metrics. In addition, you evaluate current capability performance and develop the strategic roadmaps to realize the capability visions and business value including.-
- You will ensure alignment with GTM model, other capability roadmaps, cross-functional user needs/priorities, external customer requirements, as well as available budgets/FTEs.-
- Moreover, you will collaborate with other capability owners (Commercial/Medical) and GTM services to ensure overall alignment of the capability portfolio (including interdependent capabilities) regarding the overall process and platform usage. This includes leading the cross-functional capability squad(s) to deliver on the strategic roadmaps and achieve meaningful progress on key milestones including enhancements to process, tools/platforms, training, data, and integrations.-
- You will work in an agile collaborative manner in planning and executing on projects/ deliverables in the capability roadmap. In this regard you will be responsible for defining global vendor sourcing strategy, vendor selection criteria, and managing on-going vendor relationships.-
- Furthermore, you will engage with the capability squads and user community to drive adoption of the capability and standards, as well as ensure the required capability training and change management tools are effectively managed and maintained. You will also proactively identify and promote the sharing of best practices across the community of experts.-
- You will define, document, and maintain the cross-functional core business process for the capabilities and ensure global alignment. In doing so, you will identify where local or functional exceptions/deviations are required while also ensuring that the capability is managed in a consistent and sustainable manner across R/OPUs and corporate functions.-
- Finally, you will collaborate with IT capability owners to evaluate and implement features/major changes to the required tools/platforms, and integrations based on the strategic roadmap. Additionally, ensure timely evaluation, execution, and testing of routine demands for minor upgrades and enhancements. You will also monitor operational performance of the tools/platforms and ensures issues are proactively addressed in a timely manner.**Requirements**:
- Bachelor´s degree in relevant field required, MBA or advanced degree preferred-
- Experience in global capability management and/or capability user roles with increasing responsibilities, in segmentation, targeting and territory design, preferably in pharmaceutical industry-
- Strong leadership skills with good relationship management including the ability to successfully lead and coach global cross-functional teams, influence and collaborate with peers and cross-functional partners-
- Cross-cultural awareness and ability to engage with a wide variety of colleagues from around the world through excellent written and oral communication-
- Deep knowledge and extensive practice of segmentation, targeting and territory design platforms, processes and people skills-
