**Student Assistant Global Nutrition Team**:
**in **Bonn**:

- The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of 6 months. There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. In coordination with your team, working from home is possible at any time. You will work 20 hours/week, to enable you to continue your qualification within the framework of your current studies. The position is remunerated with 14 Euro per hour.- The overall goal of the Sector Strategy, Knowledge & Learning (SEC) Unit is the continuous quality improvement of the program work in the project countries of Welthungerhilfe. As Student Assistant Global Nutrition Team, you will support us in administrative tasks to achieve this goal. Within the SEC Unit you will mainly be working in the field of nutrition. In close cooperation with other departments, you will gain a comprehensive, cross-departmental insight into the activities of Welthungerhilfe and get to know the different areas of work of an international development cooperation organization.**Your responsibilities**:

- Content research, analysis and data evaluation on the topic of nutrition as well as preparation of results
- Conceptual and practical support in the planning, organization and implementation of meetings, workshops and multimedia events
- Support in the organization and maintenance of virtual communities of practice in the field of nutrition
- Revision and maintenance of internal topic pages (updating of websites, support in creating articles)
- Preparation of presentations and posters
- Support with translations (German/English)

**Your profile**:

- You are currently enrolled at a university/polytechnic, ideally in a field relevant to the position (such as nutrition and food sciences, international development cooperation, geography, social sciences or comparable).
- Ideally, you have already gained some (work) experience in the field of development cooperation.
- You have first experiences in research and data analysis (e.g. with Excel).
- You have a strong interest in the topic of nutrition in developing countries.
- You are characterized by a structured way of working and the ability to process tasks systematically and to conduct research independently.
- You enjoy working in an intercultural environment, have strong communication skills and an outgoing personality.
- You have a very good command of written and spoken English; further foreign language skills would be an advantage.
