Car Sales Solution Architect

**PURPOSE**

As the Car Sales Solution Architect, you will be responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision for an Agile Release Train (ART), focused on developing the Porsche’s future car sales journey. You will play a decisive role in aligning the teams of the Agile Release Train to a shared technical direction and helps to ensure the overall system is technically fit for its intended purpose.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Define and promote a shared technical and architectural vision together with the product teams of the ART and derive Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs) for the implementation
- Actively collaborate with the Enterprise Architect, to ensure the ART is aligned with the technological landscape of the enterprise and the solution
- Establish a long-term product strategy and propose adequate organizational and project synergies
- Work closely with product management, solution management, customers and suppliers to ensure the architecture meets its purpose
- Align and adapt the architectural vision to the overarching solution context
- Analyze technical trade-offs, determine primary components and subsystems
- Identify interfaces and synergies, to foster collaboration between teams of the ART
- Validate technology assumptions and evaluate implementation alternatives
- Enable teams to ensure their systems are compliant with data protection regulations and security standards
- Foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the teams

**WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT**

As a solution architect, you serve as a liaison between Product Managers (PMs) and scrum teams. The PMs articulate the business and overall company goals, which need to be translated into technical requirements and a long-term technical strategy. Your role involves working with teams to develop the technical roadmap and occasionally supporting certain decisions. It's also vital to communicate feedback from the teams back to the PMs. Additionally, you will prepare and moderate workshops.
This role involves 80% communication and 20% technical work.

- and long-term strategic goals for maintaining systems and software, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Communication: Effective communication is vital. System architects collaborate with stakeholders, including non-technical clients, to evaluate requirements and translate them into system specifications.
- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Architects analyze complex problems and devise innovative solutions. They consider trade-offs, risks, and constraints.
- Technical Proficiency: A deep understanding of technical concepts, such as network design, data modeling, and software development life cycle (SDLC), is essential.
- Leadership and Team Management: Solution architects are in a role of lateral leadership. Developing leadership skills and fostering effective collaboration are crucial.
- Enterprise Architecture: Architects must grasp the big picture, aligning system designs with overall organizational architecture.
- Security Awareness: Understanding security principles and practices is vital to protect systems from threats.
- Event driven architecture (EDA): Familiarity with EDA principles help in designing modular, scalable systems.
