**Director Strategic Accounts (m/w/d)**:
Location: Europe
Responsible for leading the development of the strategies and objectives for the growth of the company’s defined strategic customers managed through the European Strategic Accounts Team. Utilizing the company’s unique value proposition to develop and implement strategic initiatives and programs defined through the Strategic Accounts Team and executed through the Sales Branches in order to maximize the engagement with all the products and services resulting in the achievement of targeted net revenue and profit goals plus on-time delivery and quality performance. Leads the development of the corporate strategy by the Strategic Accounts Team and associated Sales Branches to position TTI as the most preferred supplier in the strategic customers within the territory. Establishes clear communication and activities across the respective geographic regions to drive growth through Global TTI and the respective customer locations.
**Your responsibilities include**:
- Leads, develops and directs a European based team of Regional Global (GAM) & Strategic Accounts Managers (SAM)
- Works with the VP of Sales and SVP of Global Accounts to lead the European Strategic Accounts team to proactively develop strategic account planning that will create clearly defined mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones
- Establishes and manages productive, professional relationships with and between key personnel of TTI, designated global accounts, and key manufacturer partners
- Takes the lead as a corporate resource to coordinate and facilitate the active involvement of global, regional and Branch company personnel, including support, service, and management resources to acheive performance objectives and meet defined strategic customer expectations and commitments
- Ensures close collaboration with the general Sales organisation, Quote Resources Team and Product Management to ensure the development of an effective quotation management and end to end process to maximize profitability and improve conversion
- Develops excellent strategic customer relationships by attending or hosting key customer meetings. Gathers and maintains up to date information about strategic customer business, inventory and key developments in buying processes
- Maintains market awareness on competitor activities, industry trends and new concepts by reading industry periodicals, networking, and trade shows to keep up to date with market developments and opportunities
- Responsible for the coordination of any Customer Contract or Logistic Agreements
- Facilitate any business transition or expansion plus any pricing agreements managed through the Branches, with the objective of incremental sales margin amount through coordinated negotiation with key manufacturers & across regions
**What you bring to us**:
- University degree in marketing, business or a related field or equivalent combination of professional training and experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience is required, including experience electronic component (or related industry) within sales and management
- Business, leadership, organizational and strategic skills for planning and managing department, staff, budgets or projects
- Strong job related, methodical and excellent people management skills required for the achievement of business objectives
- Extensive knowledge of sales processes and techniques for the distribution industry
- Negotiation skills for convincing and persuading customers or suppliers
- Mentoring skills required for providing training to management personnel
- Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills for communicating, and building relationships, with extensive internal and external customers
- Teamwork/collaboration skills to encourage cooperation within the organization
- Intercultural awareness and experience to manage the diverse European structure
