Major responsibilities:

- Creates and maintains the weekly and daily production plan.
- Plans material process flow and releases appropriate schedules to production team leaders by reviewing and analysing EDI demands, lead times and logistics orders / shipment plans.
- Understands BOM, supply chain on raw material ( direct and indirect ) and backflush.
- Participates in production and materials meetings supplying status information and reacting to scheduling changes in order to support production process and as required by MRP or other special circumstances.
- Coordinating Material process flow in planning buffer stock in WIP and production targets per production processes.
- Communicates and works with other departments to determine action when raw material or purchased product is rejected by production process.
- Investigates discrepancies on receipt quantities, rejections on incoming inspection and discrepancies on packing lists
- Coordinates implementation of engineering changes affecting purchased parts by continuously communicating with Engineering, Production, Quality and/or the supplier to ensure a smooth transition to the new/changed parts.
- As required, monitors production performance by developing and maintaining spreadsheets to ensure maintaining required standards to meet production schedules.

Qualification:

- Completed apprenticeship and professional experience in the production environment and in the creation of production schedules
