Die Aufgaben
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our international team in the field of experimental tumor pathology. We use a broad spectrum of state-of-the-art methods in molecular and cellular biology and biochemistry.
You are ambitious and willing to establish new staining techniques on fresh and FFPE tumor tissue slices and to perform imaging (confocal, live cell) at the Optical Imaging Centre Erlangen.
In addition to your research, you will collaboratively work in our research team, e.g. with PhD or Master students and also supervise some Master students’ projects.
The position is limited for 5 months during a maternity leave. There might be an option for a prolongation of the working contract.

MSc degree in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Biology or Biochemistry and a PhD in a related field
Enthusiasm for science
Ability to work independently and also in a team
You have some remarkable experience in microscopy/imaging and immunofluorescence techniques
You have experience with tumor cell culture
You have very good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
