Our Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance team push the boundaries of global healthcare through research and innovation. Through clinical trials and surveillance, we ensure the safety and efficacy of our existing and pipeline products to produce safe, effective, innovative medicine.
Join our research and development team in **Schwabenheim, near Mainz, as a full-time Specialist Pharmacovigilance (M/F/d)** in a temporary positions for a **period of** **2 years.**
**Your responsibilities**:
- Support and collaboration in the preparation of regular risk management or periodic safety reports (PSUR), in consultation with the product expert or manager
- Scientific evaluation of global drug safety reports and electronic forwarding to the authorities within the legal deadlines, primarily for non-serious cases of selected products with a known spectrum of side effects
- Supporting the product managers of the global PV team and the national PV teams
- Archiving relevant PV documents and preparing protocols of meetings
- Maintaining list overviews, appointment lists and tracking sheets
- Entering side effects in the database for countries that do not have direct access to the global database
- Collaboration on projects depending on your expertise and the need
**Your profile**:
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in scientific studies (e.g., veterinary medicine or biology) or a:
- Completed qualification as a veterinary assistant or biology laboratory technician (or similar) with at least 2 years of professional experience in a veterinary clinic or industry
- Initial experience in the research and development environment of an international pharmaceutical company is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and a precise way of working
- Strong communication skills and very good oral and written communication skills in English
