DHL Express Network Operations European Head office manage and monitor the performance of the various processes and procedures that allow a shipment to progress through the DHL network. The HR department Network Operations European Head office is seeking for a HR Director f/m/d based in Leipzig to be a part of our global network as a member of the Network Operations Management Team, could this be you?

The human resources department supports the business with a total of 3 employees. As a source of inspiration, service providers or experts, the department makes its contribution to the company's success. The accountability of the role is extensive and encompasses the areas of Recruitment, Administration incl. Time Registration, Labor Relations and Talent Management, Development incl. Training and Org -design. The role has responsibility for these areas, but also must ensure that Regional & Global frameworks are applied where necessary.

**YOUR TASKS**:

- Responsibility for day-to-day operational business and all HR processes (including recruiting, labor law, billing, personnel development, reporting)
- Leading the HR team of three direct reports and ensure it is well trained and equipped.
- Implement a practical, hands-on HR Strategy and operational plan for NetOps EHO, contributing to the Group Strategy 2025
- Act as change agent and develop a cultural inclusive agenda to drive engagement and business performance
- Responsible for all HR related and general management support related matters.
- Take ownership of Talent management from design thinking to execution
- Standardization and govern of HR Processes in line with global and regional frameworks
- Develop positive relationship with Employee Representatives
- Implement all strategic and staff concerned policy measures of Deutsche Post DHL under consideration and in accordance with the interests of DHL Express Europe and
DHL Express Network Management GmbH.
- Provide vision, strategy and leadership to the HR team and drive progress
- Responsible for monitoring mandatory training
- Keep up to date with latest HR and legal development and trends.
- Liaise and partner with universities and educational institutes to establish diverging development programs
- Drive digitalization throughout implementing HRIS and realizing operational Potential in Regards of HR processes
- Provide guidance to Department Heads in terms of Org management and design.

**DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?**:

- Bachelor's Degree HR/Labor Law certification is an advantage
- Experience more than 8 years as an HR generalist
- Expert knowledge of the fundamental and key HR processes
- Communication and influencing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building ability
- Negotiating skills
- Innovatively & adaptability
- An inclination to compliance and standard control
- Cross-cultural competence and problem solving ability
- Demonstrated success in process improvement
- Business Acumen and budgetary control ability
- Customer - and solution orientation
- Independency and auto-managed
- Knowledge of related area’s such as Health & Wellbeing, Occupational Safety, Risk Management and Compliance
- Previous experience partnering the business at a senior management & executive level in a complex environment e.g. multi country/customers
- Team leadership - small to medium size teams
- Budget Management Experience
- Proven experience of leading deployment off complex organizational change projects
