Inventory Planner

As an Inventory Planner (M/F/d), you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs. You will ensure systematic delivery readiness while avoiding overstocking of centrally distributed products in the local sales entities. You will also set key parameters for inventory management such as inventory coverage and safety stock.

**Your impact**:

- Maintain optimal levels of inventories and set parameters to minimize excess stock
- Calculate overall inventory targets for local production and sales entities
- Set parameter "Planned inventory coverage" by SKU to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained
- Monitor parameter "Safety stock" by warehouse and material number to prevent stockouts
- Provide regular reports on inventory performance and recommend adjustments as needed
- Work closely with sales, demand planning, production and logistics teams to ensure alignment of inventory plans with overall business goals

**Who you are**:

- Bachelor in business, engineering, IT or similar fields
- Several years of experience in inventory planning or a similar field in a functional planning role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good IT and SAP knowledge
- Fluent in German and English
