Junior Accountant

**Your Role**:
The **Junior Accountant (M/F/d) at StudySmarter **will work with the Accountant to maintain the accounts receivable function. He/She/They will work in the Finance team and report directly to the Accountant.

**The following tasks will await you**:

- Issuing invoices and credit notes
- Compose dunning letters and send them at the appropriate time
- Work with the sales and campaign management teams to ensure timely and accurate billing to our customers
- Allocation of payments and reconciliation of the accounts receivable ledger
- Dealing with customer queries’ to their account and invoice queries
- Assist with audit requirements
- Take part in implementing a new ERP system
- Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Accountant

**What you need to succeed**:

- Preferably you have an academic degree in Accounting and/or Finance, or have completed
an apprenticeship
- You have Ambition You want to move things
- You have experience with collections
- You are approachable and enjoy working with other departments
- You have good Excel skills and can learn and adapt well to new ERP systems, experience with Datev is a plus
- You are fluent in German and have a good level of English
- You will work in a hybrid model, partially in our Munich office directly with the Finance team,
partially remote
