**Your responsibilities**:
- Performing and analyzing surgical procedures and therapeutic interventions in mouse models.
- Performing functional experiments (e.g. CRISPR KO, CRISPRa, etc.) in cellular and organoid cancer models.
- Collecting and analyzing transcriptomic and genomic data using cutting-edge methodology.
- Planning day-to-day experimental activities related to assigned research projects.
- Discussing results within the team and with external collaborators.
- Presenting data in regular meetings.
- Mentoring students and lab members.
**Your profile**:
- We are looking for a talented scientist driven by the desire to make a relevant contribution to the treatment of cancer patients by discovering significant findings in the lab.
- Profound knowledge of cancer genomics, proteomics, CRISPR models, molecular cell biology.
- Prior research experience in computational programming.
- The ability to drive projects at a high degree of excitement are a must.
- The position requires a doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as molecular biology, biotechnology or biochemistry.
- Previous experience in genetically engineered mouse models and relevant surgical procedures is highly recommended.
