University Partnerships Lead

**Your impact**:
Handshake is the leading career platform used by over 1.500 universities globally helping students to find great jobs and internships. As we expand into new territories, we seek a dynamic University Partnerships Lead to spearhead our growth in the German market. As the University Partnerships Lead for the German market, you will be pivotal in driving Handshake's expansion within Germany. Your chief goal will be to strategize and foster relationships with universities nationwide, integrating them into the Handshake network.
**Your role**:
- Develop a comprehensive strategy for engaging and partnering with German universities.
- Build and nurture high-level relationships with key decision-makers in the German higher education sector.
- Tailor and communicate Handshake's unique value proposition to meet the specific needs of German universities.
- Represent Handshake at various educational forums, conferences, and networking events across Germany.
- Collaborate with marketing to create effective, market-specific promotional materials.
- Gather market intelligence and provide insights to the product team to ensure alignment with the needs of the German market.
**Your experience**:
- Fluent in German and English.
- Significant experience in partnership management or business development, with a strong preference for experience in the education
- or public sector.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- An understanding of the German higher education system, particularly university career services, is a plus.
- Flexibility to travel across Germany.
