Geodata Scientist

Tätigkeit:

- Implementation and execution of complex spatial Big Data analyses
- Segmentation, classification and object detection based on Earth observation data using machine learning and deep learning
- Working with large volumes of data and heterogeneous data sources to create information products
- Advising internal and external customers on solving remote sensing problems and the use of data science in Earth observation
- Voraussetzungen:

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in geoinformatics, geodesy, geosciences or comparable field of study
- Interest and enjoyment in solving complex spatial problems
- Practical experience in machine learning, deep learning, and data mining
- Experience in processing and analyzing large amounts of data
- Very good programming skills for developing and automating (geospatial) data analysis, preferably in Python
- Confident handling of earth observation data and geo-information systems
- Logical and analytical thinking skills, Team player with strong communication skills and willingness to learn new Topics,
- Very good knowledge of English (C1), German language skills are an advantage
