Internship in Airframe Structural Design

**Job Description**:
Within a highly motivated, multi-disciplinary team you work on state-of-the-art composite structure, plastics, and/or metal components of the Volocopter that are key to its best-in-class performance. During your Internship in Structural Design for the Airframe, your mission is to:
- Supporting the Structural Design Engineers in their daily work
- Independent 3D CAD-Design of structural parts for the flying aircraft
- Creation of production drawings according to company standards
- Create design studies and support with design samples (e.g. material samples, engineering prototypes)
- Planning, execution and documentation of engineering and certification tests
- Active involvement in the certification process
**Qualifications**:
**Check in your professional skills**:
- Master or Bachelor student in the field of mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or comparable field of study
- Experience in CAD designs and drawing creation (Siemens NX preferable)
- General knowledge about composites (First hands-on experiences preferable)
- Organized working and open for independent tasks
- Fluent in English
- Citizen or permanent resident of the EU or current visa allows you to work in Germany
- Passion and motivation to shape the future of mobility
**Preferred skills**:
- German car driving license Participation in student’s team preferable (e.g. Formula student)
