**About the Position**:
We are looking for an Accounting Working Student to assist our finance team 15-20 hours per week, with a particular focus on accounting. This role provides a unique opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing consumer brands in Europe and help build out our accounting function as we evolve from a D2C startup into a 100m+ omni-channel scale-up.

**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- **
Invoice Management**
- You will assist the broader team in collecting and assessing invoices, ensuring timely payment.
- You will ensure each expense is accurately allocated to the proper ledger accounts.
- ** Monthly Closing Preparation**
- You will assist during the monthly closing process by collaborating with internal teams to gather all necessary financial data, including outstanding receipts, provision figures, and inventory and payout reports.
- You will be in contact with external partners such as suppliers and tax advisors to verify data and make relevant adjustments.
- You will evaluate the final inventory value and conduct monthly Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) calculations.
- ** Financial Database Maintenance**
- You will support the ongoing COGS calculation to ensure accurate product cost tracking which has a direct impact on profitability analyses.
- You will maintain the Supplier/Partner database, ensuring compliance with regulations and data accuracy.
- ** Financial Analyses**
- You will review monthly Profit & Loss statements and conduct “planned vs actual” analyses
- You will support the broader team by conducting in-depth financial analyses

**About You**:

- ** Academics**: You are currently enrolled in an Accounting, Finance, or Business degree at a university
- ** Personality**: You are detail-oriented, take a structured approach to projects, and are proficient at working within deadlines. You are a strong team player while fully capable of working independently.
- ** Skills**: You are familiar with Excel and/or G-Sheets
- ** Languages**: You are fluent in English, both in speaking and writing (German is a plus)
- ** Extras**: Previous experience in accounting or finan_ce _roles is a plus
