The Global Procurement Organization (GPO) is in the midst of ongoing transformation that will change the dynamic of how GPO engages with its stakeholders. This transformation is necessary to keep up with the fast-changing environment, develop into a digital organization, meet the Board’s ambitious growth plans, and support SAP’s strategy.

Expectations and Tasks:

- Highly motivated colleague with solid stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Understand and determine business requirements
- Experience in strategic procurement within a multinational business, with a background in Facility Management
- Work in a virtual team for the successful execution of related sourcing and supplier strategies on a global scale
- Seek opportunities for improvements, innovations, and value generation
- Perform market analyses/ benchmarking and explore market capabilities to gain market intelligence
- Support value / performance improvements in collaboration with related LoBs
- Ability to establish clear priorities and effectively manage multiple demand and time resources

**YOUR PROFILE**

Skills and Competencies:

- Master's degree, preferably in Real Estate Management or equivalent work experience
- Strong background in Facility Management
- Profound understanding of business requirements and related services
- Leading of end-to-end procurement procedures and sourcing strategies
- Open-minded and willing to drive change
- Fluent English and German skills (spoken, written)
- Ability to work in international teams and virtual environment
- Solid stakeholder management and negotiation skills, strategic thinking
- Preferably knowledge/ skills in Project Management and the ability to think outside the box
- Strong commitment to provide excellent service to our internal customers and to support SAP business needs

Work experience:

- experience in strategic procurement within indirect or direct procurement environments, ideally in a multinational environment
- Proven track record of business relationship with leading global Facility Management providers beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and to crystalize business requirements and to translate them into actionable procurement activity

**ABOUT THE TEAM**

The Real Estate & Facilities Category Team is part of the Global Procurement Organization and provides excellent business partnering to our internal and external stakeholders. The category is responsible for the definition and execution of global sourcing strategies in close collaboration with business owners, corporate legal, finance and controlling, as well as for sourcing and supplier management across the globe. The Category Real Estate & Facilities includes categories such as FM Services, Construction Engineering, Real Estate, Rent and Lease and Utility Procurement.

Category Facilities encompasses the global procurement responsibility focusing on the office and building related services, but also support line of business on SAP’s transformation to provide an entire flexible work environment for employees. To facilitate SAP employees’ productivity and to contribute to the corresponding location strategy, it is one of the most critical areas to enable SAP’s growth.
