Soft Product Technical Designer

**Position**:
**WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER**:
The Soft Products Technical Designer manages projects of new soft component product development. This role is responsible for: Soft materials and components development projects, from the brief to the homologation and start of production and responsible for technical design and manufacturing of mock ups and prototypes of soft components.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Design soft components solutions with key facts for exchange and decision-making: impact on style, cost, investment, schedule, and performances with Project Managers
- Define soft materials (têxtile, leather, foams ) and technical constructions (component manufacturing processes and component assembly solutions on the full product)
- Define deliverables, schedule and budget in compliance with project objectives
- Analyse prototype requests to define and validate with requester the physical and digital deliverables to provide
- Define the technical concepts, materials, and constructions to be used Manage all development steps, internal and at suppliers, until final component homologation
**Profile**:
We would like to speak to professionals who possess at least 5 years’ experience in soft products development in consumers goods: travel, leathers goods, sports,
- Expertise required in major têxtile and leather transformation and decoration processes
- Experience required in cutting and stitching all the materials
- Expertise appreciated in soft materials and transformation processes
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
- Creative, curious mindset to help develop and drive new concepts
- Proficiency in 2D CAD softwares like Adobe Illustrator, Skills in 3D CAD softwares like Alias, Rhino is a plus
