**Responsibilities**:
- Globally responsible for market communications of Evonik’s Silica business- Translation of the Silica strategy into a market communication strategy- Implementation of market communication strategy and responsibility for the global market communications budget as well as for the cost management- Working in the helix organization of the Market Communications function and leading a team consisting of staff from the Content, Digital, Creative, Trade Show and Support Chapters- Collaboration within the matrix of the Silica business with, sales, product management, general management and other stakeholders in the company- Strategic and operational management (messaging, marketing assets, PR work, trade show, etc.) and steering of integrated market communications globally- Management (i. e. commissioning, briefing, leading, invoicing, controlling) of external service providers- Product brand management (brand portfolio, architecture, strategy, positioning, communication, leadership)- Collaboration with the divisional market communicator and market communicators from the division on cross-business topics for the division

**Requirements**:
- Successfully completed university degree in natural sciences, journalism, economics or liberal arts- Several years of experience in market communications/ marketing and ideally previous experience in the chemical industry- Ability to work in an agile matrix organization- Strong project and stakeholder management skills- Excellent German and English language skills- Ability to adjust language and content complexity to varied target audiences- Convincing appearance, strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with colleagues at all levels as well as strategic thinking and a good aesthetic judgement- Willingness to travel occasionally
