The impact you will make
During your internship in the purchasing department, you will support the team with the procurement and supply of all necessary products and experimental items.
You will be directly involved in key project meetings and be responsible for activities across the supply chain of specific goods. You will discuss requirements with internal and external stakeholders, procure the goods according to our ordering procedure, and make sure all goods are delivered on time and in quality.

**More specifically, you will**:
Support the purchasing department in managing and developing our supplier network

Be actively involved in the preparation of our experiments as part of a project team

Be responsible for the creation and follow-up of purchase orders according to company needs

Monitor delivery schedules and due dates to ensure on-time arrival of goods

Track and monitor incoming goods, then hand them over to internal departments

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure cross-functional clarity of technical specifications

What you bring

You are studying business administration, industrial engineering, or comparable studies, and you have gained first experience in direct procurement or finance departments

Fluent in both German and English

Experienced in working with MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)

Experience with ERP-Systems (MS Business Central) is an advantage

A high level of diligence, quality awareness, and independence

You are financially aware and have a can-do attitude.

You work in a team-orientated and communicative manner
