Job Summary:
The Technical Writer works together with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements for business processes and IT systems. He/she understands the business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

Main Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the business stakeholders and the development team
- Validate requirements to achieve a consensus before starting to build the solution
- Elicit, analyze, document, and manage functional & non-functional requirements
- Translate the customer’s requirements into development-ready user stories
- Aid in the development and testing of the product
- Provide support to the development team to ensure the correct implementation of requirements
- Prepare end-user documentation/manuals
- Give client presentations, show, and tell sessions

Desired Experience
- Experience in software development projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum preferably, Kanban extra)
- Experience in Prototype and model requirements
- Knowledge of relational databases systems and ability to create data models
- Knowledge of web services and XML and the ability to model business requirements using UML
- Basic understanding of the public transport domain preferred
- Strong written & oral communication skills in English, German is a plus
- Very good analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
