**Pursue Excellence, The Team**:
The Finance Department at Stokke plays a pivotal role in the organization by managing various aspects of fiscal management and compliance. The department is comprised of accounting, business controlling, and credit control teams, each responsible for specific functions.

One of the key responsibilities of the Finance team is financial analysis and reporting. They provide detailed analysis on sales development, profit and loss, and support various projects such as research and development initiatives, profitability projects for ECommerce, and restructuring programs. This analysis is crucial for decision-making and evaluating the financial viability of different initiatives. The Finance team also handles financial forecasting and budget processes. They work closely with other departments to gather necessary data and inputs and develop accurate and reliable financial forecasts and budgets. This helps the organization in planning and resource allocation and ensures that Stokke has a clear understanding of its financial position and can effectively plan for the future.

**Take Responsibility, The Position**:
The Finance Director provides financial support for Stokke and plays an essential role in driving financial and operational decisions and outcomes. They must lead the accounting, reporting, cash management and financial systems globally and act as a financial advisor and strategic business partner to the Global Stokke Leadership team by providing insight and giving recommendations to enable and drive optimal decision-making. This includes the agility to drive and effectively track financial targets whilst also streamlining processes and procedures across our global teams. They will also lead and support ad hoc projects as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the teams within the Finance Department, provide leadership and guidance, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and professional growth. The Finance Director will be responsible for credit control, administration of the group and risk management (e.g. Insurance)
- Promote new systems, methods and procedures and develop them further where necessary to meet the changing needs of the organization.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Lead the development and implementation of accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, variances, and trends to identify areas of opportunity or concern and recommend corrective actions.
- Support mergers and acquisitions activities, including due diligence, financial analysis, integration planning, and post-merger integration.
- Act as a liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting, and recommend and implement changes as necessary.
- Participate in strategic initiatives and special projects

**Better Together, The Ideal Profile**:

- 10+ years of experience in corporate accounting and reporting, with a focus on technical accounting and financial analysis.
- Experience working with Oracle Hyperion Essbase and/or SAP Analytics Cloud for data analysis and reporting. ‘
- Experience working with Adaptive Insights, Infor M3 ERPnfor data analysis and reporting.
