Contracts Officer in a Specialist Contract Research

**Requirements**:
As a Contract Officer within our Contract Research Organization (CRO), you will be responsible for managing contracts with clients, vendors, and partners. Reporting to the EU Head of Contracts your primary goal will be to ensure that contracts are drafted, reviewed, and executed efficiently and effectively in alignment with the organization's objectives and legal requirements. Contracts will include investigator agreements

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Contract Management**:

- Draft, review, and execute contracts, including master service agreements, statements of work, confidentiality agreements, and other legal documents.
- Appropriately file documents
- Ensure that contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Manage contract lifecycle from initiation through negotiation, execution, and renewal or termination.

**2. Client and Vendor Relations**:

- Serve as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and partners regarding contract-related matters.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, finance, legal, and business development teams, to address contract issues and requirements.
- Support the Head of contracts on ad-hoc tasks

**3. Risk Assessment and Mitigation**:

- Identify and assess contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.

**4. Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and other relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation.

**5. Continuous Improvement**:

- Continuously review and improve contract processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to contract management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree.
- Fluent in English and German
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or contract research organization (CRO) setting. CRO experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
