The position corresponds to a pay grade of EG 13 TV-L.

**Unser Profil**:
The Lab for Developmental Psychology and Research Methods investigates processes of change in behavior and experience across the human lifespan. In addition to empirical work, which is based on the collection and analysis of intensive longitudinal data (e.g., ambulatory assessments, experience sampling), a second research focus is the development of statistical models for the analysis of (intensive) longitudinal data using simulation studies.

For this project we are looking for a postdoctoral research assistant/associate (f/m/d) from October 1 2024. An earlier start is possible by arrangement.

**Ihr Profil**:
Prerequisites:

- Very good university degree (master or equivalent) in psychology or a related discipline.
- Doctorate (completed or about to be completed) in psychology or a related discipline.
- Very good knowledge of statistics and methods, knowledge of the statistical package R
- Interest in ambulatory assessment designs and intensive longitudinal data
- In-depth knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Psychometrics, simulation studies, multilevel structural equation modeling
- Enjoyment of and interest in independent scientific work Very good command of written and spoken English

Advantageous are:

- Previous experience with Mplus
- Experience in planning and conducting ambulatory assessment studies / experience sampling studies
- Experience in conducting meta-analyses German language skills in spoken and written

We expect an independent working style, personal commitment and the ability and willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics (esp. complex statistical methods). We expect strong communication skills, willingness to cooperate and the ability to work in a team.

**Ihre Aufgaben**:

- Implementation of the project's work packages (simulation study, meta-analysis, re-analysis of empirical data, planning and implementation of an experience sampling study)
- Coordination of data preparation, data documentation and publication of research data
- Independent research within the framework of the project
- Supervision of theses (B.Sc. / M.Sc. Psychology)
- Preparation of and collaboration on scientific publications and conference contributions
- Collaboration in the acquisition of third-party funds
