**Your responsibilities**
- You will develop a deep understanding of Uniper’s business, its value drivers, and the business environment
- You will learn from and collaborate with experts in an international team from many different fields, contribute your ideas and work on your own projects with various stakeholders
- You will start in the Gas & LNG department and rotate flexibly upon your individual career development path
- In Gas & LNG, you will develop profound understanding of the LNG and natural gas value chain including its infrastructure
- You will contribute to the assessment of shipping costs and general deal economics
- You will assist in scheduling and operations of LNG vessels and handling of cargoes delivered by third parties and will support the negotiation of shipping, terminal and commodity deals as well as internal deal approval processes
- You will participate in the overall assessment and management of the portfolios

**Your profile**
- Completed educational background with a focus on business, economics or engineering
- Ideally first practical experience in energy commodities gained through internships and/or working student activities
- Curiosity and openness to working in a diverse, international environment
- Intercultural experience is crucial, experience abroad a plus
- Sense of responsibility, proactivity and advanced interpersonal communication skills as well as a drive for continuous improvement with a hands-on mentality
- Ability to work under stress and high workload
- Fluency of written and spoken English is required, knowledge of the German language is a plus

Based in Germany, the program gives you a deep insight into our day-to-day business and helps you to explore your personal strengths. Individual mentoring and a buddy from day one will ensure you have the best possible foundation for the next step in your career at Uniper. We are fortunate that, on average, more than 95 % of all trainees remain with our team after their program and take on an appropriate follow-up position.
