**The Position**:
This position is part time eligible with 90%.
Post Doc: This Position is limited for 2 years.
**Tasks & responsibilities**:
- The scientific research for new synthesis routes regarding the late-stage label will be part of your tasks.
- You will be responsible for complex syntheses for the cold precursor material following not the Boehringer Ingelheim routes.
- Moreover, you will analyze the last projects and literature regarding late-stage label focus, and you will write scientific papers and participate in international conferences.
- In your new role, you will be responsible for optimizing the hot reaction regarding the yield and the input of radioactive material as well as the amount of radioactive material for the development phases.
- You will implement a strategy for the late-stage label at our company. In addition, you will have the possibility to work for some weeks at another site of Boehringer Ingelheim.
**Requirements**:
- PhD degree in chemistry or a related discipline
- Experience in working with radioactivity, ideally in the field of C-14
- Strong background in reactions for labelling with radioactive material
- Ability to independently plan and carry out studies and laboratory work
- Experience in working with teams Very good oral communication skills as well as scientifical writing and documentation competencies in English
